EXPO-LINE LAUNCHES FIRST WORKSHOP FOR REFEREES

Expo-Line is launching workshops to guide referees professionally in the use of Vanishing spray. The workshops are led by former top referee Frank De Bleeckere. "It's sometimes about details but they are what make the difference in football," he explains.

What was still new to football and referees in 2014 is now self-evident. Vanishing spray is now established in modern football.

When a referee sets up the wall, players have a clearly visible line that they must respect. As a result, far fewer yellow cards are drawn in this phase of the game. That is a win-win for all parties.

"Expo-Line Vanishingspray goes one step further. We offer football federations a Vanishing Spray Workshop. In it I guide referees for one day to see if they use their Vanishing Spray correctly. You can see it as a workshop for professionals," says former top referee Frank De Bleeckere.

"The workshop consists of a technical session that explains how to use it. This is followed by a practical session on the football pitch," continues De Bleeckere. "Last month in the King Baudouin Stadium we gave the first workshop to three Belgian referees from the Jupiler Pro League."

In May, De Bleeckere will take a plane to Denmark. "Danish referees will be using Expoline Vanishing Spray in their Superliga from next football season. I'm going to give a foreign workshop there. That way they can start the season well prepared."
